What is a Leadership Development Network?

Leadership Development Networks are groups of pastors and church leaders who meet together for personal and organizational development over a two-year period to build healthy churches that effectively reach the unchurched and develop fully devoted disciples who use their gifts to impact the lives of others. Lead pastors must bring at least three additional leaders from their church to participate. The bi-monthly sessions take place at a time and place that best suits network members.

LDR Church Leadership Development Networks were created by Dr. Mel Ming and Steve Mills. Mel is the church leadership coach and executive director of the Division of Pastoral Care and Development for the Northwest Ministry Network. He also serves as a church coach/consultant and conference speaker. Previously he developed and directed the Doctor of Ministry program at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. He has served as a pastor, missionary, educator, and denominational leader. Steve Mills was one of the principle creators of the We Build People program for the Assemblies of God and is a founding partner of Leadership Development Resources, LLC. Their company, Leadership Development Resources, will be providing ongoing training for our leadership team.
